乱七八糟 (亂七八糟)

at sixes and sevens; in great disorder; a total mess

Example:

好端端的一个图书馆搞得乱七八糟！
Hǎoduānduān de yī ge túshūguǎn gǎo de luànqībāzāo!
A smooth-running library thrown out of gear!

乱七八糟地胡说一通
luànqībāzāo de húshuō yī tòng
speak a load of old nonsense of utterances

他的屋子乱七八糟的。
Tā de wūzi luànqībāzāo de.
His room was in a real mess.

我心里乱七八糟的, 这会儿不想吃。
Wǒ xīnli luànqībāzāo de, zhèhuìr bù xiǎng chī.
I don’t feel like eating—my mind’s in a whirl.

把这些讲义顺一顺, 不要放得乱七八糟的。
Bǎ zhèxiē jiǎngyì shùn yī shùn, bù yào fàng de luànqībāzāo de.
