yì wú suǒ yǒu

一无所有 (一無所有)

not own a thing in the world; not have a thing to one’s name; utterly lacking; without two sticks to rub together

Example:

除了行李被褥之外, 我一无所有。
Chúle xíngli bèirù zhīwài, wǒ yīwúsuǒyǒu.
Apart from clothes and bedding I have nothing

他无家可归，一无所有
tā wújiākěguī, yìwúsuǒyǒu
He was homeless, and didn’t have a penny to his name
